Raising Calm Kids in a World of Worry: Tools to Ease Anxiety and Overwhelm
Virtual Event
As caregivers, we want to shield our children from overwhelming feelings of stress while also nurturing their resilience, confidence, and independence. Psychotherapists and parent coaching team Graber and Evans will come to GPS to introduce a simple yet powerful approach designed to help children ages 6-12 manage big feelings and build lasting self-esteem.
Utilizing real world examples, they will outline the communication tools and the key practices to reduce worry and give children coping skills that can be used for life. Participants will discover how to help children find calm when they need it most. This workshop will also increase feelings of peace and security in adults who care for anxious children.
Drawing on their extensive experience in trauma and mindfulness, Graber and Evans have facilitated parenting workshops worldwide. They have trained over 8,000 psychotherapists, psychologists, counselors, and parent coaches with practical tools to support children who suffer from anxiety.
Please share information about this event with friends and relatives. All are welcome to our free weekly GPS events, and no registration is required.
