Dr. Edith Treviño

B-PAC in Spanish: Positive Parenting Mindsets -- A Guide to Mental Endurance

Virtual Event

Presented in Spanish only

Raising kids is not easy. Many of us have struggled with our own mental health as parents. Dr. Edith Treviño believes that in tough times we must be our own cheerleader and motivator. Time must be spent on recovering from life’s big punches and moving forward with strength, courage, and determination. Join us for an inspiring presentation to empower parents with a healthy mindset.

Dr. Edith Treviño, also known as “Dr. ET,” is a dynamic presenter, self-taught edtech, storyteller, author and advocate of language and students. She is a passionate educator who lives and teaches in La Frontera in Round Rock, TX. Dr. ET holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Bilingual Studies. She is co-author to “The Death of My Mexican Name,” and her research is focused on teacher perceptions of Mexican immigrant students’ lived experiences. Her passion and research are grounded on border-life of La Frontera with its inherent displacement and cultural and historical trauma – and how those lived experiences intertwine and impact education.
