EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM IN SPANISH: Disciplina Inteligente y Saludable para Niños Pequeños / Smart and Healthy Discipline for Young Children

In this special early childhood GPS event Gutierrez will teach parents and guardians the real-world, positive discipline strategies to help young children manage their behavior and keep themselves from harm while promoting healthy development. Discover how to best maximize the use of consequences and time outs. Know when to respond and how to redirect disruptive behaviors in constructive ways. Discover the communication and listening skills needed to both reinforce the good behaviors and discourage the bad.

Gutierrez is a nationally certified bilingual school psychologist who holds an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology. She has presented to hundreds of parents, students, and educators on strengthening the parent child relationship, emotional intelligence and parent empowerment.

En este evento especial de GPS para padres de niños pequeños, presentado en español, la psicóloga Mariana Proske (Gutiérrez) enseñará a padres y tutores estrategias reales y positivas de disciplina para ayudar a los niños a manejar su conducta y promover un desarrollo saludable. Descubra cómo aprovechar al máximo las consecuencias naturales, cuándo intervenir y cómo redirigir conductas disruptivas hacia direcciones constructivas. Además, aprenderá diferentes habilidades para reforzar los buenos comportamientos y desalentar los inadecuados.

Mariana Proske (Gutiérrez) es psicóloga escolar bilingüe certificada a nivel nacional y cuenta con un título de Especialista en Educación en Psicología Escolar. Ha ofrecido conferencias a cientos de padres, estudiantes y educadores sobre el fortalecimiento de la relación entre padres e hijos, la inteligencia emocional y el empoderamiento de los padres.
