Timothy Fields and Distinguished Panel

Education beyond high school offers numerous benefits including increased earning potential, enhanced career opportunities, and advanced personal development. College also provides a space for self-discovery, the development of lasting connections, and the pursuit of passions.

Fields will lead a panel of experts and provide support and guidance for students as they prepare for and work through the college application process – a key event in a teen’s life. This presentation will guide and encourage students and caregivers through each stage of the college admission process and provide information on paying for college. Parents will learn strategies to provide invaluable support and help their students navigate the college transition with confidence as they pursue their goals.

Timothy Fields is the Dean of Admissions at Emory University and author of the “The Black Families Guide to College Admissions.”
