Parenting Your Young Child through Misbehavior, Meltdowns and Tantrums

No times available.

Virtual Event

Are you struggling with your child’s tantrums and emotional meltdowns?  When your toddler or child feels upset, disappointed, or frustrated, do they have a tantrum?  In response, do you give in, over-react, talk too much, nag, or punish?

Then, you might be accidentally prolonging the problem. Meltdowns are different than tantrums and need to be responded to differently as well.

Dr. Ann-Louise Lockhart is the President and Owner of A New Day Pediatric Psychology, PLLC. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2006 and started her practice in January 2016 after practicing in military clinics and hospitals for 10 years.  Dr. Lockhart has published two eBooks – You Are Not Alone: A Comprehensive Parent Approach to Helping Your Child with ADHD Thrive and You Are Not Alone: The Ultimate Parents Guide to Eliminating Tantrums.
