Dr. Ari Tuckman
Preparing Students with ADHD for Success
HYBRID EVENT - On Zoom and in person in the Silverleaf Room at the Culinary and Hospitality Center at College of DuPage (COD) in Glen Ellyn, IL at noon, and on Zoom at 7 p.m.
Whether a child is navigating the challenges of middle school or preparing for life beyond high school, Tuckman provides a plan of action to help kids develop reliable systems for organization, time awareness, self-regulation, and self-advocacy — starting immediately!
Tuckman will detail how adults can step back from the cycle of micromanaging and step into a supportive coaching role that fosters genuine independence.
Participants will learn how to ditch frustration, quell nagging worries, and equip children with executive functioning skills like time management, emotional regulation, and long-term planning.
Educators will learn how to identify hidden executive function gaps and support students in developing autonomy and reaching their full potential. Join us to discover how to shift the conversation from conflict to collaborative problem-solving.
Tuckman is a psychologist and a nationally recognized expert on ADHD. He is the author of five definitive books including “The ADHD Productivity Manual” and “More Attention, Less Deficit.” He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and is known for his practical, everyday strategies and deeply empathetic approach to supporting individuals and families impacted by ADHD.
