Duncan Kirkwood - Live Life Well Week
IN PERSON LIVE LIFE WELL WEEK -- The Critical Skills to Unleash Perseverance, Passion and Purpose
In person at Glenbard West High School library, preceded by Health Fair at 6:15 p.m.
As an inner-city student, Duncan Kirkwood overcame many setbacks to make it to graduation. With each challenge, Duncan learned new lessons that ultimately helped him thrive. In this powerful, inspiring, and perception-shifting message, Duncan shares his experiences and the critical life lessons he learned during his journey.
Now a resilience-officer in the Alabama National Guard, Duncan trains soldiers in perseverance-skills, and he equips students (and the adults who care for them) with the same practical tools.
As an expert in developing grit and unleashing human potential, Duncan will present real-world methods that help to transform student’s challenges into opportunities. Participants at this special Live Life Well Week event will also learn the practical resilience skills that caregivers need to come along side and motivate youth today.
Duncan Kirkwood is a highly regarded global resilience speaker, author and educator dedicated to inspiring individuals and communities worldwide. He is the Director of the Center for Resiliency at Villa Maria College and an Army National Guard Master Resilience Trainer. He is also the author of “Rerouting: Resilience Tools and Tactics.”
A Community Health Fair will precede the program at 6:15 p.m.
